Ingredients
- Burger Buns
- Beef patties
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce
- Cheese
- Blue Banner Sliced Red Onions
- Optional: condiments like Rosella Tomato Sauce, Rosella Organic BBQ sauce, mustard, or mayonnaise
Method
Toast the Buns: Lightly butter the inside of the burger buns. Place them on the grill or in a hot pan, cut side down, until golden brown. Set aside.
Cook the Beef Patties: Season the beef patties with salt and pepper. Cook them on the grill or pan for about 3-4 minutes per side (or until they reach your desired level of doneness).
Melt the Cheese: During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on the patty and cover the grill or pan to let the cheese melt.
Assemble the Burger:
- Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the toasted bun.
- Add the beef patty with melted cheese on top of the lettuce.
- Layer with slices of tomatoes.
- Add a few pieces of Blue Banner Sliced Red Onions
5. Top and Serve: Add condiments if you like, then place the top bun on the assembled burger. Serve hot and enjoy!
