The Classic Burger

Ingredients

  • Burger Buns
  • Beef patties
  • Tomatoes
  • Lettuce
  • Cheese 
  • Blue Banner Sliced Red Onions
  • Optional: condiments like Rosella Tomato Sauce, Rosella  Organic BBQ sauce, mustard, or mayonnaise

 

Method

  1. Toast the Buns: Lightly butter the inside of the burger buns. Place them on the grill or in a hot pan, cut side down, until golden brown. Set aside.

  2. Cook the Beef Patties: Season the beef patties with salt and pepper. Cook them on the grill or pan for about 3-4 minutes per side (or until they reach your desired level of doneness).

  3. Melt the Cheese: During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on the patty and cover the grill or pan to let the cheese melt.

  4. Assemble the Burger:

  • Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the toasted bun.
  • Add the beef patty with melted cheese on top of the lettuce.
  • Layer with slices of tomatoes.
  • Add a few pieces of Blue Banner Sliced Red Onions 

5. Top and Serve: Add condiments if you like, then place the top bun on the assembled burger. Serve hot and enjoy!
