Blue Banner pickled onions have been an Aussie favourite for generations. They are locally grown in Tassie and crafted from our Blue Banner Signature Recipe.

Blue Banner’s tradition of crisp and crunchy Tasmanian Pickled Onions goes back generations. In the early 20th Century we began pickling from a pristine corner of South Tasmania and a beloved Australian staple was born. Today, using premium onions that only Tasmanian soil can provide, we produce Blue Banner Pickled Onions with the same closely guarded secret recipe that made its taste world famous.

HOW WE MAKE AUSTRALIA’S BEST PICKLED ONIONS

Getting the perfect pickles takes time and the process that we use differentiates us from all our competitors.

Only the Best Crop

The rich Tasmanian soil combined with the cool Tasmanian climate helps to produce the best quality onions for pickling.

Traditional Method

The onions are individually and carefully peeled. The jars are then hand filled and our secret pickling recipe is added into each jar.

Natural Ingredients

We ensure that no artificial colours, flavours and preservatives are added to our product.
